Scott Rimmer has been working professionally in the coaching industry for over 25 years.
Coaching life began in the United States for a total of 9 months learning his craft with Intramural, Travel & select programmes including Residentials. Supported players from 6 yrs – varsity across Manhattan, Long Island, Massachusetts, Rhode Island & Boston.
Following 3 seasons with Brentford FC Academy whilst studying an Honours Degree at Brunel University, Scott joined Chelsea Football Club where he spent 10 exciting years. During this time Scott completed the UEFA B Licence whilst learning wider principles with Coaching methods & Talent ID. Scott’s major success story with recruitment at the cub was the Identification of Connor Hunte who signed professional at Chelsea, Wolves and represented England U17’s.
In 2006 Scott set up his first coaching company PSR Coaching which was later purchased by a national competitor in 2011. During this time Scott teamed up with Ex England International & Chelsea footballer Graeme Le Saux to launch a Training Academy In Elba, Italy which ran for 5 seasons. After a 2 year spell leading the companies National Football projects, Scott formed Ultimate Coaching Ltd In 2014 with co Director Tom Arnold, followed by the Ultimate Football Academy (UFA) in 2015. With UFA Scott was instrumental in setting up Sutton United’s Professional Academy over a two year period, working in partnership with an education provider which offered a range of BTEC study programmes.
Since 2014 Scott has volunteered his time as Director of Football at Oxshott Royals Youth FC. The role has grown year on year as the club has become increasingly professionalised under Scott’s stewardship. Ultimate Coaching Ltd is delighted to be the official development & football services provider for the club bringing fantastic opportunities to players from 4 – 18yrs.
