Grassroots football within the UK has continued to evolve over the past few years with more and more clubs seeking professionalisation. The FA are doing their part by developing a more comprehensive educational framework for managers & coaches, and we at Ultimate Coaching ensure children and managers receive 1st class coaching, mentoring & consultancy.
This evolution was triggered by the Football Associations `Future Game` concept which was introduced in 2012, which was then followed by the FA DNA in 2015.
Our specialist football department, UFA, has an ongoing commitment to be a driving force behind the integration of these models, and we delighted with the impact we are having.
We continue to be innovative when designing bespoke models for football clubs or institutions. We believe the foundation to any successful development programme is to achieve the following;
We offer the following services to grassroots clubs;
Foundation - U5 & U6
We believe offering the perfect environments for boys and girls at entry level is absolutely key.
The experience for children aged 4 - 6 should be inspirational, gripping and challenging.
Creating a balance of activity which enables children to grasp the fundamentals, establishing freedom to play to experiment, be adventurous, take risks and explore.
At UFA we design and implement these programmes for grassroots clubs wishing to professionalise and help children be the best they can be.
We are very committed to the development of girls football, with specialist staff employed to focus on weekly objectives. with offer this as a weekly feature to our development model

“Ultimate Coaching have supported Oxshott Royals Youth FC for 6 years and continue to do a fantastic job overseeing the 35 teams and 400 registered players from U6 – U18. During this time they have been instrumental in supporting the professionalisation of the club with the support of their coaching team and they have demonstrated excellent commitment over the years. The professional coaching staff provide each teams coaching & training requirements which requires flexibility, adaptability and individual collaboration with team managers.
Scott Rimmer’s role of Director of Football has expanded over the 5 years as part of the club’s development strategy as a Community Charter Club, ensuring the club operates in line with the Football Association. The company has successfully developed a recruitment / entry process for increasing parents wishing to join the club, whilst helping develop the club’s constitution and football policies. Player assignment, coaching syllabus, strategic coaching aims & objectives and player recruitment are a number of policies UC have helped introduce. Key initiatives which are managed excellently include the technical training model, Manager mentoring, Girls development programme, School / Club partnership programme, Foundation schemes, Match Day support & assessments, player assessment and the parent consultation.
Scott and the team have shown a dedication and a level of expertise that has help introduce numerous processes and a framework that will help strengthen the clubs long term success and reputation. I would happily recommend Ultimate Coaching without any hesitation both within a coaching & management capacity.”
